Our Supporters

The support of The National Gardens Scheme (NGS) - QNI funder for over eighty years - has been central to the development and delivery of the QNI Fund for Innovation. NGS support for our financial assistance programme has also helped transform the quality of life of many working and retired community nurses in need.

The Burdett Trust for Nursing has recently given vital support to our 'Fund for Innovation and Leadership' programme, running for three years from January 2010.

We have recently been awarded a major grant by the J. Paul Getty Jnr. Charitable Trust for our 'Opening Doors' project with homeless families and those suffering from substance misuse problems. This work is also generously supported by the Merchant Taylors' Company of London.

In 2009 we received tremendous support from the Rathbone family charitable trusts and from Rathbone Bros plc, who helped make our 150th anniversary of district nursing celebrations a success.

The QNI was also generously supported by The Big Lottery Fund from 2007-2010. This allowed us to create the Homeless Health Initiative - supporting nurses who work with people without a secure home.

Many other organisations and individuals make generous donations to the charity, without which our work to improve patient care in the community would simply not be possible.

More information about organisations that support the QNI can be found in the ‘Support Us’ section of the website. There you can also find out more about how you can help.
