3 Million Lives

Whole System Demonstrator (WSD) Programme
http://www.dh.gov.uk/health/2011/12/wsd-headline-findings/ - this programme across three areas of the UK involved 6000 patients. It's evaluation by the Department of Health led to the conclusion that nationally, 3 million people could benefit from telehealth and telecare. This led to the launch of the Three Million Lives campaign.
