Your Application

To be eligible to apply for the Queen's Nurse title, you must:

  • be a community nurse
  • be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • have at least three years community nursing or health visiting experience
  • work in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. 

To apply, you first need to be issued with a Unique Reference Number (URN).

Due to an increased volume of URN requests we are not issuing any further URNs until later this year.

If you have already received a URN, the deadline for receipt of completed applications is 6 June 2016.
