The Queen's Nursing Institute works with the public, nurses and decision-makers to make sure that good quality nursing is available at home for everyone when they need it.

To be eligible to apply, you must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council, have at least three years community nursing or health visiting experience, and currently be working in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man or the Channel Islands, as a community nurse.
If you would like to apply, the first thing to do is to complete and send the form below, so we can give you a unique personal reference number. We will also give you any support you need to help you through the application process. Alternatively you can email us at queensnurse@qni.org.uk
Once you have your unique personal number, you're ready to start the application process. The Application Form and the other documents you will need to apply are below. The process is designed to be as straightforward as possible.

Training
£10 could provide five nurses with a resource pack on working with homeless families
Equipment
£50 could pay for the essential equipment for sick babies being tube fed at home
Support
£100 could provide a year's rent of a care alarm to help keep a retired community nurse safe in her home
