Support Us

Everyone needs the help of a community nurse at some point in their lives.

The QNI is the charity dedicated to ensuring that people receive high quality nursing at home. Your support is vital if we are to improve healthcare in today's society.

Where does your money go?

  • £10 could provide five nurses with an 'Improving healthcare for homeless people’ resource pack on working with homeless families
  • £50 could pay for the essential equipment for sick babies being tube fed at home
  • £100 could provide a year’s rent of a care alarm to help keep a retired community nurse safe in her home
  • £500 could help fund a support group for young people who self-harm
  • £1000 could set up a treatment room to treat homeless people with leg ulcers

Because we’re not part of the NHS, we are given no government funding and rely on your generosity to continue.

We're also looking for people to fundraise for us. If you fancy giving something back to your community, and having fun at the same time, why don't you get involved?

If you would like to find out more about how you can help, please visit the 'Support Us' area of the website.

‘Thank you for everything you did for [the patient], and myself, and our family over the last few months. You got so many difficult balances just right. Efficient without being officious, cheerful and cheering without being brisk or matter of fact or ever hitting a false note, knowing when we needed help and when you could boost our morale by showing us how to help ourselves. Every time we have a problem you provided us with a means of coping with it ... we could not have wished for a better nurse or a better friend.’
