This year, why not enjoy a day out at a National Gardens Scheme garden - you'll be helping fund the QNI too!
Providing vital funding for projects that help improve patient care.
Visit our nursing heritage website, a celebration of District Nursing around the world since 1859.
In this section of the website we will be adding health advice for you and your family, on specific issues. Usually this advice will come from other organisations that are specialists in the field. Please note that the QNI is NOT responsible for the accuracy of content on external websites.
One healthy activity that we do recommend for anyone able to get out and about is garden visiting. Our biggest funder, The National Gardens Scheme, organises nearly 4000 gardens open for charity every year. You can find out more about gardens open near you in the Yellow Book, available from booksellers, or by visiting their website at www.ngs.org.uk . This year they are holding the first ever national gardens festival weekend on 15 - 16 June.
