The QNI
Homeless Health Initiative
Are
you a nurse working with people without a secure home? Join us to access free support!
The Queen’s Nursing Institute's Homeless Health Initiative, funded by the Big Lottery
Fund for 3 years, supports nurses working with people lacking a
secure home e.g. people who are on the streets, in B&Bs, hostels,
refuges, friends/families’ floors – or any temporary housing.
Our support to community nurses working with homeless people
includes:
-professional development opportunities; -health promotion resources tailored
to the homeless health field; -best practice guidelines for homeless health care;
-peer support, networking, and information sharing.
The Initiative is keen to reach out to all community nurses, health
visitors and midwives working with people without a secure home -
including both specialist and general nurses.
For further information on
the initiative, contact Kate Tansley at
kate.tansley@qni.org.uk.
