Nursing
N° 1 - stress in the workplace
The first part of our Nursing
N° 1
campaign was about
healthy eating and drinking, smoking cessation and exercise. Our
second part is about mental health – specifically, about
stress at work and coping mechanisms.
We have been surveying nurses about these issues at several
national conferences, but we are keen to hear from more people
on this subject. The findings of the survey will show what the
most important issues are, and guide us in the decision about
what forms of practical advice and support we should offer.
Please click
here if you would like to
take part in the survey.

QNI supports new website for carers
The QNI is giving its support to a new website for carers,
www.connectingforcare.co.uk.
Community nurses have always considered patients, their
families and informal carers to be essential partners in their
work. Without this shared endeavour, many patients would find it
much harder, and sometimes impossible, to cope.
We are very pleased to support this initiative which enables
everyone involved in care in the community to share experience,
expertise and support.
