The title
of Queen's Nurse is awarded to individual
nurses who have demonstrated a high level of commitment to
patient-centred values and continually improving practice.
The title has always
been an indicator of a qualified community nurse, who is committed
to high standards of practice. One of our charitable objectives is
to support innovation and best practice in primary care, in order to
improve care for patients. We believe that one way to do this is to
link together community nurses who share a common high standard of
practice with a shared title.
