Due to Covid-19, this garden opening is now cancelled. Please check back for updates later in the year.

Queen’s Nurse Hazel Dent is opening her garden in Dorset as part of the National Garden Scheme, raising funds for nursing and caring charities.

Tea and cake will be available to purchase with all proceeds going to the NGS.

Entry on the door is £3.50. Free entry for children.

Full information about the event is available on the NGS website.

This is my first year of opening the garden to the public as part of the National Garden Scheme! It is opening in May when the sun will be shining and the Spring flowers in bloom.

My husband (a great Assistant Gardener) and I would like to welcome you to our 1/4 acre mature garden which lies behind the gate of 150 year old Falconers Cottage. Since moving to Falconers in 2013, we have cared for and enhanced this characterful cottage and garden. We call it, ‘Our Labour of Love’.

We would love to share its many aspects including a pond, vegetable plot, climbers and some interesting plants. As you wander around the garden, you will find restful areas to sit and it’s a great place for Queen's Nurses to meet for tea and cake!
