Become a Queen’s Nurse
The Queen’s Nurse title was reintroduced by the QNI in 2007 to promote the highest standards of patient care in the community.
Applications for the Queen’s Nurse title are now open. Completed applications must be received by 28 February 2018.
To be eligible to apply for the Queen’s Nurse title, you must:
- be a community nurse
- be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
- have at least FIVE years community nursing or health visiting experience
- be known to your manager for a period of at least one year
- work in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.

Please note that any paperwork received after 28 February 2018 will not be considered.
