Kate Billingham has been a trustee of QNI since 2008. Over her 40 year career Kate worked as a paediatric nurse and health visitor, ran a health project for young parents and held leadership posts in primary care and public health.
In 2001 she joined the Department of Health as Deputy Chief Nursing Officer until June 2007 followed by five years working on the Family Nurse Partnership Programme and the Healthy Child Programme.
Since she retired from the DH in 2012 Kate has been doing consultancy work from her home in Suffolk as well as enjoying her grandchildren, cycling and volunteering with the local refugee support service.
